Their sevens are funny


Browsing real interest rates, found something at Quandl. I doctored the graph to show the URL, title, and description. Plus, I eyeballed the black trend line and added the red circle. The red ellipse.

What I noticed, sevens aside, was that during the "macroeconomic miracle" years of the latter 1990s, real rates reached and sustained a high, relative to trend.
